I never knew my mother to not have at least two handwork projects on the go at any one time. If it had anything to do with textiles she would do it and do it beautifully. I came to the world of textile arts rather later in life but with great appreciation and understanding of the ability and talent such endeavours require because of my mother’s example. I am amazed at the results I have achieved on my artistic journey thus far and in some small way I pay tribute to my mother in every work I complete.
